Le briefing sur la sécurité, l'introduction de l'équipage, les documents nécessaires pour la plongée, l'attribution de la cabine et l'orientation du navire auront lieu avant de quitter le port. Pendant le voyage vers notre premier site de plongée pour une plongée de contrôle, veuillez saisir cette occasion pour vous familiariser avec le navire et vous mettre à l'aise. Dimanche matin, le yacht quitte la marina d'Al Mouj. 10 vols de nuit sont du mercredi au samedi avec une moyenne de 35 plongées.

Jour 2 > Jour 9

Les îles Daymaniyat: Les joyaux de la plongée dans le golfe d'Oman. Cette chaîne de petites îles rocheuses au nord de Mascate est entourée de récifs coralliens impressionnants jusqu'à 100 pieds / 30 m et de tonnes de poissons. Les récifs coralliens couvrent jusqu'à 70% des sites de plongée sous-marins avec plus de 100 espèces différentes de coraux mous et durs dont pas moins de 10% sont uniques aux eaux d'Oman. La vie marine est abondante avec 280 espèces différentes de poissons, variant des raies, des tortues, des murènes, des requins léopards, des requins baleines. Les tortues de mer vertes et les tortues imbriquées sont des résidents communs des îles Daymaniyat. Les grands dauphins, les dauphins à spinner et parfois les baleines à bosse peuvent être rencontrés. Les îles sont une réserve naturelle et un important site de nidification des tortues ainsi qu'un sanctuaire pour les oiseaux migrateurs. Aquarium - La perle des îles Daymaniyat où vous pouvez tout voir. Pêcher par milliers; bancs de carangues, vivaneaux, poisson chauve-souris, barracuda, baliste à dents rouges. La variété des espèces est grande; immenses raies pastenagues et raies aigles, tortues, requins léopards, murènes sans fin, poissons scorpions, hippocampes et nombreux nudibranches. Daymaniyat - 3 soeurs - Des coraux mous abondants, des raies pastenagues, des murènes, des mola mola et parfois des requins léopards passent. Daymaniyat - Jardin d'Eden - Un paysage idyllique avec d'énormes blocs parsemés de coraux mous orange, violet et jaune. Daymaniyat - Juin - Coraux de table, coraux mous, poissons colorés par milliers Daymaniyat - Hayut - Un mur recouvert de coraux mous violets en pente jusqu'à 65 pieds / 20 m et de nombreux surplombs. Murènes en nid d'abeilles, raies pastenagues, poissons-lions et nombreux nudibranches. Îles Hallaniyat: Le paradis des sites de plongée intacts et abrite des coraux vierges, des épaves et des baleines. De nouveaux sites de plongée et épaves peuvent être découverts tout le temps. Les points forts de la plongée sont sans aucun doute l'occasion de voir la population résidente de rorquals à bosse, mais comprennent également des rencontres avec des raies manta et des cachalots. On y voit souvent d'énormes bancs de dauphins ainsi que des tortues vertes. Les raies manta océaniques géantes, les mérous géants, le poisson-chat géant et les mobulas sont courants. Les îles offrent une vie marine saine avec un magnifique jardin de corail et vous verrez des poissons par milliers. Les îles Hallaniyat sont une région de plongée inconnue où vous pouvez vous attendre à tout!

Jour 10

Le matin: 6h du matin départ pour la première plongée. Dans l'après-midi: 15 h arrivée au port de Salalah (Mina Raysut) selon l'itinéraire. Le soir: Cocktail à 18h et dîner à terre à 19h (le dîner du vendredi soir est le seul repas non inclus dans la croisière).

Jour 11

Départ 8:00. Le transport est fourni vers les hôtels ou l'aéroport d'accueil depuis le yacht à la fin de la location. Le transport est fourni à l'aéroport selon l'itinéraire le samedi matin.

  • Le voyage commence à Al Mouj Marina et se termine au port de Salalah (Mina Raysut). L'aéroport le plus proche du port de départ est Muscat Intl (MCT) et l'aéroport le plus proche du port d'arrivée est Salalah (SLL). Les transferts ne sont pas inclus, vous devez vous rendre au port ou réserver avec Oman Aggressor moyennant un supplément. Embarquement est Al Mouj Marina avec l'hôtel hôte Grand Mellennium Hotel (situé à 60 minutes de l'aéroport) et Débarquement et l'hôtel recommandé est à Salalah (SLL) au Jeweira Boutique Hotel & Marina (situé à 30 minutes de l'aéroport).     Small print

    The trip begins in Al Mouj Marina and ends in Port of Salalah (Mina Raysut). The closest airport to the departure harbor is Muscat Intl (MCT) and the closest airport to the arrival harbor is Salalah (SLL). Transfer are not included, you need to make your own way to the harbor or book it with Oman Aggressor for a charge. Embark is Al Mouj Marina with the host hotel Grand Mellennium Hotel (located 60 minutes from the airport) and Disembark and recommended hotel is in Salalah (SLL) at the Jeweira Boutique Hotel & Marina (located 30 minutes from the airport). If you are already in Musandam, Muscat or Salalah and making your own way to the Oman Aggressor, boarding and Check in the boat is between 15:00 and 21:00. The boat departs Al Mouj Marina at around 22:00 on the same day.

    Getting There, Passports & Visa Documentation

    Oman is located off the south-eastern Arabian Peninsula and bordered by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Saudi Arabia. Most major airlines fly to Oman and Dubai (DXB); Emirates, Oman Air, Qatar Airways, United Airlines, Delta, Lufthansa, Swiss and British Airways. An overnight stay is usually required and highly recommended due to airline schedules. Guests will need to fly to the following airports the day before departure:

    Dubai (DXB)

    Visitors must have a current passport, adequate funds to support themselves, and a return airline ticket. Visitors require a passport that must be valid for 6 months from date of entry. It is the travelers’ responsibility to ensure they have the proper visa to travel into each country on his or her itinerary as well as for re-entry and return to their country. Since regulations vary by country, contact your consulate or embassy of your country for the requirement.

    Tourist E-Visa

    A tourist visa is required when entering Oman. You may log to the following website to purchase an E-Visa ESTA. It takes 10 minutes to fill in and pay for online and is good for a 30 day stay in Oman. The airlines will want to see the printed and approved ESTA at check-in when flying to Oman.

    Arrival / Boarding / Departure

    Boarding starts Saturday afternoon at 3:00 pm. On Sunday morning the yacht departs. After 5 1/2 days of of scuba diving the Oman Aggressor returns to the Port. Check-out is Saturday morning at 8:00 am. Transportation is provided back to the host hotels or airport from the yacht at the end of the charter. Transportation is provided back to the Airport according the itinerary on Saturday morning.

    Oman Aggressor includes

    All staterooms are air-conditioned and fitted with private bathrooms, hair dryers and flat screen TVs. Breakfast (cooked to order), buffet lunch and an elegant meal at dinner with table-side service are served in addition to fresh mid-morning and mid-afternoon snacks. Beverages (beer, wine and non-alcoholic) are complimentary while onboard. Linens are changed mid-week upon request and fresh towels are placed in each stateroom as needed. All staterooms and the interior of the yacht are new and have a stylish design for your convenience. Filled tanks, weights and weight belts are included

    Airport/Hotel Transfer and Fees/Taxes

    At the end of the week, guests will settle their bills for the following taxes, fees and transfers:

    USD 200 Park & Port Fee: Muscat, Salalah (7 night charters for diver/non diver)

    USD 200 Park & Port Fee: Muscat - Salalah (10 night charter for diver/non diver)

    For onboard services, sales, park and port fee and other items purchased onboard, the yacht accepts Visa

    and MC with a 4% fee for this service. The yacht cannot accept traveler’s checks due to the banks in Oman not accepting them. Old and worn bank notes are not accepted by Oman banks so please be sure the notes are in good condition. The following currencies accepted onboard are US Dollars, Omany Rials, Euros and Sterling Pounds.

    The Oman Aggressor provides transportation from the airport upon arrival (on the charter start day) to the

    yacht at $35 USD per person and from the host hotel to the yacht on the charter start date with a pick up

    time of 3 pm for $35 USD pp one way. At the end of the charter on the departure date, transportation can

    be arranged for departure at 8 am from the yacht to the host hotel or airport for $35 USD pp one way.

    *Salala itinerary: if you are staying at the Juweira Boutique Hotel, the yacht is docked in the marina and the hotel can help transfer your bags by golf cart at 3 pm to the yacht. A staff member will be available to assist at 3 pm if needed.

    Insurance

    We strongly recommend each guest purchase comprehensive accident, medical, baggage and trip cancellation and interruption insurance when space is reserved. Trip insurance will protect you from financial disappointment if you are prevented from making your scheduled trip due to illness or family illness, or in the event that unforeseen circumstances prevent the airline or yacht from making its scheduled trip.     Health

    The Oman Aggressor has a first aid kit onboard, including oxygen and an AED. You may want to bring

    motion sickness medication if you feel you will need it. We suggest you bring over-the-counter motion

    sickness medication or consult your doctor about prescription brands, such as the trans-dermal patch or

    Scopace tablets. Currents and winds may cause moderate movement of the yacht at times. We recommend

    a complete physical before your trip. The Oman Aggressor and their staff are unable to accept any

    medication brought onboard for safekeeping including those that require refrigeration. Should a guest have

    a medication requiring temperature control, they will need to travel with a travel cooling case or small

    storage cooler with several blue ice packets. The staff will be happy to store and recharge the blue ice but

    are unable to accept possession or responsibility for the proper care and storage of medication. This should

    be kept in the stateroom. There is NO smoking allowed anywhere inside the boat or on the dive deck.

    Smoking is only permitted on the rear of the sun deck and flying bridge.

    There is a recompression chamber located in Muscat.

    Internet / E-mail

    Internet (WLAN) is available when close to shore. Email is not available. Skype,Viber and WhatsApp are not available; unless you have a private VPN account. A satellite phone is available for incoming and outgoing calls for a fee.

    Day 1

    Safety Briefing, Crew Introduction, Necessary Dive Paperwork, Cabin allocation and ship orientation will take place before departing the Harbor. During the journey to our first dive site for a check dive, please take this opportunity to familiarize yourselves with the vessel and make yourself comfortable. On Sunday morning the yacht departs from Al Mouj Marina. 10 Night charters are Wednesday to Saturday with an average of 35 dives.

    Day 2 > Day 9

    The Daymaniyat Islands: The jewels for diving in the Gulf of Oman. This string of small, rocky islands north of Muscat are encircled with awesome coral reefs down to 100 feet/30 m and tons of fish. Coral reefs cover up to 70% of the dive sites seabed with more than 100 different species of soft and hard coral of which no less than 10% are unique to Oman’s waters. Marine life is abundant with 280 different species of fish, varying from sting rays, turtles, moray eels, leopard sharks whale shark. Green sea turtles & hawksbill turtles are common residents of the Daymaniyat Islands. Bottlenose dolphins, spinner dolphins and sometimes humpback whales can be encountered. The islands are a nature reserve and an important turtle nesting site as well as a sanctuary for migrating birds. Aquarium - The Pearl of the Daymaniyat Islands where you can see everything. Fish in their thousands; schools of jacks, snappers, batfish, barracuda, red-toothed triggerfish. The variety of species is large; huge stingrays and eagle rays, turtles, leopard sharks, endless moray eels, scorpion fish, seahorses and numerous nudibranchs. Daymaniyat - 3 Sisters - Abundant soft corals, stingrays, moray eels, mola mola and sometimes leopard sharks pass by. Daymaniyat - Garden of Eden - An idyllic landscape with huge blocks spangled with soft orange, purple and yellow soft corals. Daymaniyat - June – Table corals, soft corals, colorful fish in the thousands Daymaniyat - Hayut - A wall covered with purple soft corals sloping down to 65 feet / 20 m and numerous of overhangs. Honeycomb moray eels, stingrays, lion fish and numerous nudibranchs. Hallaniyat Islands: The paradise of untouched dive sites and home to pristine corals, wrecks and whales. New dive sites and wrecks can be discovered all the time. Diving highlights are undoubtedly the opportunity to see the resident population of humpback whales but also includes encounters with manta rays and sperm whales. Huge schools of dolphin are often seen as well as green turtles. Giant oceanic manta rays, giant groupers, giant catfish and mobulas are common encountered. The islands boast a healthy marine life with awesome coral garden and you will see fish in their thousands. Hallaniyat Islands are an undiscovered diving region where you can expect everything!

    Day 10

    In the morning: 6 am a departure for the first dive. In the afternoon: 3 pm arrive to the Port of Salalah (Mina Raysut) according to the itinerary. In the evening: Cocktail party 6 pm and dinner ashore at 7 pm (Friday night dinner is the only meal not included in the cruise).

    Day 11

    Check out 8:00 am. Transportation is provided back to the host hotels or airport from the yacht at the end of the charter. Transportation is provided back to the Airport according to the itinerary on Saturday morning.
