Fort Missanabie wreck description

Fort Missanabie wreck basic informations

The “Fort Missanabie” is the shipwreck of a English cargo tank, torpedoed in May 1944. On the seabed, the view of the wreck, broken in two parts, is really impressive: the half with the armed stern is upright, with the majestic propellers raised from the bottom, while the half with the bow lies upside-down perpendicularly. The wreck is surrounded by dense shoals of Anthias anthias; there are many breams and snappers; shipwreck structures hide usually groupers, moray eels, conger eels.

description

basic informations
