Mister Jump Diving Center description

Mister Jump Diving Center basic informations

Hello there,

ever heard about Ustica, the first marine natural reserve in Italy? Well, if you haven't you most certainly must to come and check it out. Here, in our little paradise, you'll have the chance to dive in what is believed to be the best places in the Mediterranean sea together with groupers, barracudas, huge amberjacks and so much more. The volcanic formation of the island created loads of passages, caves and tunnels ready to be discovered and easily accessible.

Our team is made of people who made their biggest passion into their every day job, becoming better and better at what they do to give you the best experience above and under water. We stand by the sea spirit philosophy and live by it everyday, respecting and caring about the underwater environment, our second (but also first) home.

Mister Jump Diving Centre has been active for more than 10 years and is the outcome of years of experience in the Red Sea and Maldives.

Considered one of the most spectacular dive sites in the Mediterranean, owes its name to an ancient dialect mangling the original "Homeric Rock ", many other legends surround this beautiful place but we reserve the right to tell you about it on board! Its crystalline waters conceal one of the richest and most varied backgrounds that can offer both an extraordinary presence of fish and an incredibly rugged environment where a series of breathtaking passages lead us to a canyon that plunges from the surface vertically to -30 meters. Unforgettable are the light effects that accompany us in the first part of the dive, giving space to carousels of yellowtail and barracuda swimming in the blue.Wanting to change the dive profile you can opt for the “closed path”. At a depth of -18 meters in fact we find the entrance to a cave called "The Whale" that cuts the rock bringing us, after about ten minutes of penetration, up to -26 meters. This is a dive suitable for any diver.

One of the most beautiful and fascinating diving not only of Ustica but in the entire Mediterranean. We dive on the top of the hat shoal at a depth of 3 meters, but after just a few meters you will reach the edge of the shoal, after which you will be left breathless in front of a vertical wall of basalt column that falls up to 30 meters on a first plateau. Gliding slowly get up to the top of the plateau, the blue is opened in front of us, and that's where you see the benthic fishes, tannute and snappers. The stones, which are located along the descent are rich in coral reefs and offer shelter to groupers who let themselves bring undisturbed.Circumnavigating the shoal you reach the wreck of a merchant ship aground about ten years ago, and, among the majestic and peaceful groupers, you can come across barracudas vortices. On the way back, if you are lucky, on the plateau that leads us back to the shoal, you can admire the circling of amberjack.Damselfish, glances and salps accompany us thr
